We need donations in three categories:
1.) MONEY. You know, this really is a tough part of the job description because who am I to ask people for their money when I do not have much to give myself? However, financial needs are part of this process as we must pay for our website, flyers, signs, t-shirts, etc. If it is possible for you to donate or if you know someone who might, any amount would be appreciated. No amount is too small, and the Florida Division of Elections says anything over $500 would be too large. I would really appreciate any financial help and the money would be put to good use. Please include your address and occupation with your check. This is a requirement of the campaign finance law in the state of Florida.
Please add a phone number because I would love to call to thank you personally and listen to your concerns regarding the City or District.
2) TIME. This is probably the one place where most of you could really help out. My wife, Judith, and I will be able to hand out flyers and go door-to-door on our own during the weeks before the election. However, on the night of February12th and all day during February 13th, we will need volunteers, in three-hour shifts. It is critical that we remind people in the District about the special election and to If you would be interested in working any of these volunteer shifts, or if you have any other questions about my campaign, please call me, directly at 954-756-0108 and I'll be glad to speak to you.
3) CONTACTS. Please, if you know anyone who lives in Emerald Hills or other parts of District 4, do not hesitate to tell them about my campaign, my website and Grassroots campaigns are usually built from the ground up on word of mouth, so any help in this manner would be greatly appreciated.
Not only are we looking for money, time and connections but we appreciate your input and advice as well. Certainly I have ideas for helping Hollywood become the great city it should be, but I'm modest enough to know that I don't know everything (or even as much as I think I know!). I am confident that we can accomplish great things for this city, but I need your help to put me in a position to do something about it.
